And the winner is: Kell! Who correctly guessed Enya! We are both basically rock people, the hubster on the louder screaming side than me, but in general we both go for rock/pop bands. So it was a surprise that this was the one we had in common.

I have a couple of Enya CDs. I probably should have guessed that.
Woo Hoo! Yeah, I was pretty surprised it was Enya, too, since most of the music you've talked about has been rock. But "ethereal" was quite a clue.

When I was 18/19 and working at the Motherhood Maternity store I would pop Enya into the tape player before I started my shift. The pregnant ladies LOVED it. I think I sold the music store down the street out of her CDs at least twice a week.

Yeah, I bet if I had looked that word up it would have helped me. ;-)
I talked it over with hubby and his only suggestion was maybe U2. He didn't realize that Enya had been around that long. The passage of time is so strange the older we get.
