Sucks to live here

So, apparently we are getting snow today thru Saturday. We have storm warnings and blizzard warnings for the state. Um, so, it's April?

My tulips are just starting to come out. I have like, three tiny little leaves beginning to peak out of the dirt.

And now this???????

So so very very wrong. I'm going to go sulk now. If you didn't catch it, my post yesterday was dedicated to Tink and Jo.

I'm definitely bringing some cold-weather gear now!

We're supposed to get some snow, too, but nothing too serious. No blizzards forecasted! That's just wrong, man.

I can't wait to see pictures of your tulips. I hope they make it.

No snow for us, but once again we got massive rains last night. It's unbelievable how much rain we have gotten. Nobody's well is running dry this summer!

Not the tulips! Every time I'm missing home, it's the tulips & apple trees that first come to mind (I've blocked out the snow). Would it work to place drinking glasses over the tulip sprouts, like a make-shift belljar?

Love the shoes, you're wearing a painting :)

today's shoes are a masterpiece. you may be the one who makes me love shoes, I usually wear the same pair til they fall apart.

sorry about the snow and the tulips - I like jo's idea about the glasses, we did that last year and saved some baby sprouts.

it's actually sunny and warm here today, first time! I swear it's on its way to you - it is, it is.

Bah humbug. I'm sorry about the snow there. We're finally warming up here in Delaware but that could change by the morning. Silly mother nature. God had to make her a woman. Changing her mind all the time. Being unpredictable. hehe

This is what is known as the Snow Tire and Daffodil Season here in Arkansas. This year, though, the rain may wash away all the early blooming flowers.

Makes you want to go back to California doesn't it?

We've been spared the snow for a couple of weeks now - just a little bit that melted as soon as it hit the ground the other day. I sure don't want any more of that crap...
